BorB hitting record numbers…..

January 25th, 2008 Drazen Drazic Posted in Uncategorized |

Taking a bit of time to reflect right now…..almost a long time that we’ve been around. Thank you to all our supporters. BorB is now the most read IT Security Blog and News Site in Asia Pacific!* (But….the majority of readers are in the US and Europe!)…….?!?!

*estimated figures based upon potentially dodgy analysis.

  1. Well done b or b.

Just out of interest dd, how can it be as you say - almost a long time - that you’ve been around ?

Does this mean that you haven’t been around quite long enough to classify it as a long time, but not short enough to classify it as a short time ?

Following this logic, you could possibly conclude that b or b has been around for a medium time period.

I’m going to get a beer.

    :-)

    BG.

  2. I am a wordsmith aren’t I?! I think I know what I meant to say. Oh well. Thanks BG.

  3. @Drazen,

“BorB is now the most read IT Security Blog and News Site in Asia Pacific!”

Are you making this claim or a third part[y|ies] (and if so which third part[y|ies])?

  4. I polled 10 of my mates and 100% of them responded that they read the site. So I multiplied that across the region using a formula I developed and came to the conclusion that it must be. I like to throw a few big statements out there and see what happens.

  5. Yeah, thats a good strategy I reckon.

I also polled 10 of my mates at the pub after a few beers & they all said I was a top bloke, all things considered.

So I multiplied those figures across the region & came to the conclusion I must be a legend.

    :-)

  6. It worked for G Dubbya !

  7. @Drazen

I polled 25 of my friends and 24 said they were loyal BorB readers, the remaining one said he had heard so much about it and is gonna check it out tonight. I think you calculations are quite accurate …impressive ;)

At least your research is a more thorough than that of the CTO of Trend Micro who claims that he can determine the security mindset of a whole country just by asking “a few individuals just two or three questions”….Gees i dont know about that.

  9. KI, he was the Dux of my statistics/marketing for CIOs course!…check the website for the next one!…sample size is everything! He did well…just followed by the spokesmen for major anti-virus dudes (who also attended my training session) who have been saying that they have the bad guys on the run!

LOL….that is a classic link KI! Quote of the year so far! :-)

  10. @Drazen,
