Big Galoot Diatribe - If you go out in the woods today….

The rantings of Craig Chapman, IT Security Legend.

Hold onto your seats people. What I am about to tell you might completely re-shape your ideas on cyber crime. (But I doubt it).

The rather appropriately named “Panda Labs” has conducted a cutting-edge investigation into the murky world of malware writers and cyber criminals. From; Secure Computing.

The result of their in-depth investigation? Well, according to Panda Labs, cyber-crooks are collaborating on different forums and “Internet sites”.

Shock, horror, I hear you say. Criminals collaborating? On the internet? In forums? How remarkable! What a scandal! Who knew about this?

If you, like me, felt somewhat underwhelmed at Panda Lab’s latest revelation, then wait for it, there’s more…

“The malware writers are attempting to develop test tools that replicate the scans of some of the leading security suites available to consumers and enterprises”. So says the cutting-edge Panda Labs investigation report at SC magazine.

Knock me over with a feather, slap me hard with a soft teddy bear, Panda Labs. Its almost too much to bear (forgive the pun).

“Panda Security believes this allows hackers to thoroughly check that their creations will be undetected before they are launched”.

This is getting too much. I’m blown away with your research, “Panda Labs”.

Where’s my teddy bear ?

Big Galoot.

  1. What a joke.

How can they call this ‘research’ ?

  2. Pandas are fat lazy bamboo eating omnivores that only eat, sleep & shit.

    Good mascot for a company.
