Sad but true but there’ll always be someone out there that will provide the service for a ridiculously cheap price. The old 3 quote rule?! How ancient and stupid is that one? Lets forget all the good things our loyal, best and trusted supplier of services has done for us and see if someone who we don’t know and have no idea of their capability will come in cheaper than them.
How hard can it be - surely everyone out there professing to deliver quality IT security consulting is the same!

SF….the nail has been hit. You are so right. I think you just learn who is worth dealing with and really looking after as a customer and others you do the best job you can and hope that based upon that job, you are respected for the quality of work you have delivered…..sometimes that happens…with others, it makes no difference. In those cases, you can easily judge the overall expertise and ability of the final decision maker. In those cases, you generally have already met their staff and they have the same opinion of their management. Move on and wish them all the best.
