Security Pre-Sales Engineer – Content Security – North Sydney Location
Market leader in email and web based security seeking the skills and expertise of pre-sales engineer to deliver cutting edge solutions to customers.
A global market leader in Internet and email content security is seeking the skills and experience of a Pre-Sales Engineer to support the sales team and channel partners by providing technical, design and implementation advice for the use of their products.
The primary responsibility of this role will to work very closely with the account managers and channel managers for product evaluations and demonstrations, customer training and the provision of implementation expertise to new and existing customers.
What you’ll be doing on a daily basis:
• Provide Technical specialist support for the sales and channel management staff
• Act as a technical focal point for channel partners
• Work alongside sales on consultancy and implementation work
• Deliver training programs, ensuring standards are maintained as required
• Deal with customer pre-sales technical queries as part of the sales cycle
What Skills do you need to perform this role effectively:
• Email and web systems knowledge
• A solid understanding of the fundamentals of IP networking, including SMTP, DNS, HTTP/S, exchange and lotus mail environments
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A solid track record in training and developing channel partner competencies
Any qualifications needed?… would be nice:
• MCSE
• CCNA
