Security Consultant for Securus Global – Melbourne
Securus Global is currently looking for expressions of interest from experienced security professionals with strong technical security expertise to join our team – based in Melbourne. This is a challenging and varied role with predominantly project-based, hands-on engagements that include:
- Web Application and Network Penetration Testing
- Networking Technologies and Architecture Security Analysis
- Application Source Code Analysis
- Research: Vulnerabilities, Exploits and Emerging Trends
- State of Security Assessments
- PCI DSS related projects

The following are the key mandatory skill and experience requirements for the role. Please only serious applicants who can fulfill this selection criteria:
- A passion for Information Security (you actively follow and/or participate in the industry)
- Excellent coding skills with knowledge of Python, C and Web Application Programming Languages
- Strong experience with security of major operating systems; Windows, Unix, Linux, OS/X
- Strong networking technologies and architecture skills
- Proven experience in network and web application penetration testing
- Proven experience in security vulnerability and exploit research

– Self motivated and an ability to meet deadlines
– An ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
– High personal standards and expectations of quality and high results
- High personal ethical standards for confidentiality and integrity
– Permanent Australian residency or longer term work visa.
